Pro Active DEA's

Over the last handful of months we've had DEA's contact us to say they'll accept EPC work at £150.00 per go... and then as time's gone by the sad realisation has dawned that Panel providers are demanding lower & lower prices from their EPC providers.

To this point some DEA's are being asked to work for a pittance.

Hence we've done two things;

Firstly as a "Pro-active DEA" if you're prepared to contact Estate Agents in your area we'll provide the remaining components of the HIP and once we receive the EPC we'll badge the completed HIP with your logo. ie. brand it as yours.

From an Estate Agents point of view they may deal with large panel providers who provide them with the complete HIP but........

  • There's unlikely to be a relationship between the Agent & the EPC provider.... ie. they're asking a complete stranger to visit their clients houses!
  • The Panel will generally speaking always use the cheapest EPC provider hence there probably won't be the same EPC provider on each instruction - which isn't great from a continuity perspective.

By providing the whole HIP you can negotiate your own prices & build your own relations with estate agents and solicitors. You are then in much greater control of your business.

Secondly, through our websites we generate our own nationwide HIP cases and if you're happy to work to our figures we'll build a relationship with yourselves and use you on our own cases. ie. if you introduce work to us we'll return the favour!

At present, depending upon the local authority, we're delivering HIPs within 10 days.

In terms of payment we generally ask the client for 50% on initial instruction, by credit card, with the remainder payable 1 month after delivery of the HIP.

Alternatively for a small surcharge we can take a 10% initial credit payment & the remainder spread over 3 months.
